Restore & Rejuvenate in New York City

Once a year, during July 4th weekend, we present a three day Feldenkrais® retreat for the public. With the guidance of two dedicated teachers, enjoy an immersive experience that is designed to give your nervous system and body an opportunity to refresh, restore, and recharge. Whether you live in New York City or are visiting,  this three-day workshop puts you on a path towards better health and comfort.

“The lessons are designed to improve ability, to expand the boundaries of the possible, to turn the impossible into the possible, the difficult into the easy and the easy into the pleasant.“
    - Moshe Feldenkrais

”...few of us really pay attention to how our bodies move until something hurts. The key to healing, Feldenkrais felt, is learning to be aware of these unconscious patterns of movement, and experimenting with new possibilities until you find ways to move with the least effort and strain.”
    - Dr. Andrew Weil

“After doing the Feldenkrais exercises I feel freer and lighter. I have a better attitude and feel more positive. I feel more ‘connected’ and as if my body is working for me, instead of against me.”
    - Previous Participant

“So grateful to be able to wake up refreshed today very much pain free!”
    - Previous Participant

“When I got up this morning, I knew the most important thing I had to do today—even more than paying rent—was to come to class at the Feldenkrais Institute. And I can feel the reason why.”
    - Sabine Yearwood

“I believe Marek Wyszynski’s extraordinary fluency in anatomy and physiology facilitate his lucid teaching of self awareness, self-correction and efficiency of movement with the Feldenkrais technique.”
    - George Green, M.D., Professor of Clinical Surgery, Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons

“The Feldenkrais Method has totally changed the way that I see myself, and how I relate to the world. The freedom I have found is extraordinary, and the lessons have freed me from numerous complaints and ailments. Each day I find another thing that I can do. It has given me a feeling of passion to be able to live life with purpose.”
    - Margaret Fletcher, M.D.
